  44. Annual meeting of the Sikkim State Legal Services Authority was held on 6th December, 2019 in the Conference Hall of Sikkim SLSA at Gangtok.

  45. The District Legal Services Authorities and Taluk Legal Services Committees under the aegis of Sikkim SLSA observed International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2020 and the week thereafter, as Legal Services Week.

  46. A training programme on eCourt Services was conducted for the Panel Advocates and Lawyers of all the districts of Sikkim on 10th October, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. through webinar.

  47. A training programme on Pre-Arrest/Custody/Remand and the Duties of Remand was conducted by Sikkim State Legal Services Authority on 17th October, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. through webinar.

  48. Constitution Day was observed by Sikkim State Legal Services Authority, District Legal Services Authorities and Taluk Legal Services Committees on 26th November, 2020.

  49. The District Legal Services Authorities and Taluk Legal Services Committees under the aegis of Sikkim SLSA observed International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2021 and the week thereafter, as Legal Services Week through Video Conferencing and Whatsapp group in view of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

  50. A sensitization programme on NALSA (Protection & Enforcement of Tribal Rights) Scheme, 2015 was conducted by Sikkim SLSA in order to mark the launch of “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” on 12th March, 2021 at Labour Office, 7th Mile, East Sikkim duly complying with all the social distancing norms as laid down under COVID-19 protocol.

  51. A sensitization programme on the functions, duties and responsibilities as also the rights of prisoners for the Senior Police Officers of both the Jails (State Central Prison Rongyek and Additional District Prison Namchi) along with Additional Superintendent of Police and Sub-Divisional Police Officers of all the 04 (four) Districts of the State was organized by Sikkim State Legal Services Authority via virtual mode on 03rd September, 2021 (Friday).

  52. Pan India Awareness and Outreach Programme from 2nd October, 2021 to 14th November, 2021 as a part of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” and Legal Services Week from 8th to 14th November, 2021

Legal Awareness and Outreach Programme, for the labourers and public of Kupup and surrounding villages about the NALSA (Legal Services to the Workers in the Unorganized Sector) Scheme, 2015 on 22nd May, 2022 (Sunday) in coordination with Labour Department, Government of Sikkim at the Kupup Community Hall, East Sikkim.

Sikkim State Legal Services Authority under NALSA (Legal Services to the Mentally Ill and Mentally Disabled Persons) Scheme, 2015,organized a Mental Health Programme for the Officers and staff of Rural Development Department, Government of Sikkim from all the Districts on 26th August, 2022 (Friday) at Sikkim Judicial Academy, Sokeythang, Gangtok

The Sikkim State Legal Services Authority in coordination with District Legal Services Authority, Gyalshing organized a Mega Legal Awareness and Outreach Programme on (i) 24th September, 2022 at Government Senior Secondary School, Uttarey, Maneybong Block, Gyalshing District and on (ii) 25th September, 2022 at S.L. Dow Gyatsho Kazi Senior Secondary School, Mangalbaria, Soreng District.

  57. The Sikkim State Legal Services Authority in coordination with the District Legal Services Authority, Gangtok, organised a Legal Awareness Programme for inmates of State Central Prison, Rongyek, Gangtok, Sikkim on 9th November, 2022 (Wednesday) on the occasion of National Legal Services Day and “Haq_humara_bhi_to_hai@75” campaign launched by the National Legal Services Authority for providing basic legal assistance to persons confined in prisons.

  58. A Legal Awareness on Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Human Trafficking was organized by the Sikkim State Legal Services Authority for the students of Class IX and X and accompanying teachers of thirteen schools in Gangtok on 12th November, 2022 (Saturday) on the occasion of National Legal Services Week and “Empowerment of Citizens through Legal Awareness and Outreach” campaign

A Training Programme on the proper and effective implementation of “Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 read with Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Rules, 2012 and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015” for all Stakeholders on 26th November, 2022 at Sikkim Judicial Academy, Sokeythang, East Sikkim.

The Sikkim State Legal Services Authority (Sikkim SLSA) under the directions of Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai, Judge, High Court of Sikkim & Executive Chairperson, Sikkim SLSA organized a training programme for the Counselors of Rehabilitation Centres who are manning the “24x7 Crisis Centre-cum-Suicide Prevention helpline number (18003453225 and 03592-202111)”made available by the STNM Hospital held on 30th May, 2023 (Tuesday) at 11:00 a.m. in the office of Sikkim SLSA.

  67. The Sikkim State Legal Services Authority (SSLSA) under the directions of Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai, Judge, High Court of Sikkim and Executive Chairperson, Sikkim State Legal Services Authority organized a Training Programme for Teachers identified as Counselors to address Mental Health Issues of students and to provide Counselling to them and their Parents on 29th July, 2023 (Saturday) at Chintan Bhawan, Gangtok.

  68. The Sikkim State Legal Services Authority (SSLSA) under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority organized a State Level Mental Health Programme for Sensitization of Stakeholders under NALSA (Legal Services to the Mentally Ill and Mentally Disabled Persons) Scheme, 2015 on 19thAugust, 2023 (Saturday) at Sikkim Judicial Academy, Gangtok.

The Sikkim State Legal Services Authority (SSLSA) under the directions of Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai, Judge, High Court of Sikkim and Executive Chairperson, Sikkim State Legal Services Authority and under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority, organized a Capacity Building–cum–Refresher Training Programme for Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Counsellors of Sikkim on 19th August 2023 (Saturday) at Sikkim Judicial Academy under NALSA (Legal Services to the Mentally Ill and Mentally Disabled Persons) Scheme. 2015.
